Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo

Born on December 2 1982 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model best known for her roles in movies and television shows. Brandt began her acting career with her role in the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. Then she got her first American performance on Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia. The actress was featured on a number of shows over the last decade, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Brandt began playing Mazikeen (the character played by Tom Ellis Lauren German, as well as Kevin Alejandro) in the urban-fantasy series Lucifer back in 2016. Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. She began her career as a model, appearing in print advertisements and commercials. Prior to becoming an infamous model, she worked as a salesperson for retail and as a consultant in recruitment for information technology. She played Leilani, a New Zealander in the comedy Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. In 2021, she had her debut appearance on Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She was a slave named Naevia. Naevia's role has also been reprised by her in the Spartacus miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Co-starring with the actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she began playing an elusive demon called Mazikeen in Lucifer, the Netflix successful show Lucifer. The role is her most prominent up to now. On the show she co-stars alongside Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
